Painting
Painting is my way to explore the natural world so I can bring that information back to my constructions. This is one reason why I have a special appreciation for trees and their structure and role in the landscape. The nature of trees has a profound influence on my sculptures. I let the subject inspire my approach. The physical characteristics and atmosphere of a location, influence my stylistic approach.
